The work and the thinkingTy Ellison

Most people don’t need to understand a Microsoft tenancy migration. They need to know whether their files will be there, what will happen to their laptop and what they’re supposed to do.

I approached the move with those questions in mind. Each device had its own plan, each person had a booking that fitted around their day, and the communications explained what to do before, during and after the change.

The creative thinking was in how the team experienced the project. Clear language and a considered sequence of messages were part of making the transition work. When people already have a job to do, understanding an IT project shouldn’t become another one.

The left brain, at a glanceMove the whole house without anyone noticing.

Moving the agency, one device plan at a time.

I led Keep Left’s side of the move to Hardie Grant’s Microsoft 365 environment, working with HGM Group Ops and Blue Apache. The scope covered mailboxes, files, Teams workspaces and devices.
